Christie Vozniak (Instructor)

Christie Vozniak is a professional dancer and dance educator specializing in classical ballet and precision jazz. Originally from Atlanta, GA, Christie began her teaching career at Callanwolde Fine Arts School and moved to New York City after becoming an inaugural recipient of the Jeff Capitola Scholarship from the Radio City Rockettes in 2017. Christie has been teaching classical ballet in New York City for 5 years in a multitude of environments and communities and through these experiences wholeheartedly believes in the power of classical dance to create well rounded, sensitive artists and people. She is committed to creating positive experiences and associations with ballet while providing a thorough technical foundation and cultural appreciation of classical dance that she hopes will be of service to her students wherever their life takes them. Christie would describe her teaching style as thorough, fun and engaging.

Christie trained as an educator under a full scholarship from The National Dance Institute under the tutelage of former New York City Ballet Principal Jacques d’Amboise, Ellen Weinstein, Emily a Eisner and Jennifer Aks-Neuman in their unique teaching pedagogy that utilizes dance as a catalyst to inspire excellence in all children. She is committed to continuing education as a dance educator and recently participated in American Ballet Theater’s Teacher Certification for Levels Pre-Primary through Level 3 under the tutelage of Franco de Vita and Raymond Lukens this summer.
