No stranger to dance, Donna has been a part of the dance world for over 20 years. Her background in Education and Special Education has grown into a shared dance program with her daughter Maggie, who is a Professional dancer based out of NYC.  This program, created and founded by Donna's daughter, is an inclusive dance and movement program called Unique Movers. With an MS in Education, Donna has been a part of many New York State Middle School and High School Boards, including working for a Superintendent of Schools in Westchester County. Donna has her own tutoring program as well, and for the past 10 years has been working for an adaptive program as a Community Habilitation Leader for neurodivergent adults based out of Westchester, NY. Donna has worked in Retail Management, Restaurant Management, and Real Estate Management. Although, she has thoroughly enjoyed working in many different fields, her life passion for teaching and educating children of all ages and abilities, has been at the core of her heart. With that, Donna is so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of The Dance Gallery NY Studio! Here, Donna has found a home and a place to witness the love of dance and community service work its' magic and touch the lives of so many! She feels truly blessed to be a part of such a positive atmosphere and excellent program, and looks so forward to enjoying and embracing every experience with her wonderful DGNY family!!
